The platform we use is the Zenoah 23cc petrol powered Z230 heli as pictured but utilising a special mounting frame, gimballed to keep the camera at a constant level with the horizon.

The control system is via conventional High quality remote control utilising Piezo gyros to assist platform stability.

The camera fitted can vary from a 35mm SLR, thru digital to digital broadcast quality video if required. We incorporate an on board telemetry to allow the ground operator to view what the camera sees via a self contained hooded monitor and allows the operator to independently pan, tilt and activate the camera shutter etc for selective photography resulting in well framed pictures.

A complete "Turn key"package including helicopter with radio/gyro etc, gimbal, telemetry system with ground control system and monitor and support equipment costs approximately NZ$16000.00 (no camera) but can vary due to operator requirements.
